Body Fat Analysis



Segment lean analysis is fancy way of saying body fat or body composition scanning. The method used at Crossfit Hoboken is found to be nearly as effective as a DEXA scanner and a much more reasonable cost.

We have an InBody 520 by BioSpace. This device helps you quantify some of the results based on empirical measurements that go beyond how much weight you are losing and help validate what you are seeing in the mirror. Of course, we define fitness by the amount of work that we do, this analysis can give us some insight on how we change over time.

We recommend that you do this analysis prior to working out in a fasted state for optimal accuracy. You will benefit from seeing these changes on a monthly basis especially tied to a specific goal.
