Participants will have the opportunity to challenge themselves in six different competitive team events. All events will be military style team events designed to emphasize team work and self-sacrifice. Participants will go for 24+ hours with little sleep and only MRE’s to eat. All the events will be under the supervision of active or former military cadre. Events will culminate with the grueling NAV Course. A night time, ruck based, navigation course designed to test participants not only physical, but their heart as well. This is not a competition, nor a certification. Instead, a challenge designed to test how much you are will to take and how much you are will to give to help your team succeed.
Although this is a team building event, participants will sign up as individuals. The instructors will break you into difference group sizes depending on revolution. It is our experience that you will gain more working in unfamiliar groups than in groups with pre-established social hierarchies.
Pain is certain, fun is a possibility, and for those who complete the 24 hours, pride is assured! Good Luck!
Where: Commencement at CrossFit Hoboken
When: October 27th
Cost: $240 (Includes MRE’s and T-Shirt)
Enlist Here!

This is awesome and I wish i was in Jersey to participate
So freaking awesome. I’m In. Trying to get about 10 more guys to join with me. BTW how many participants will this be capped at?
We were originally capping at 30 but we have the ability to go to 50 which is looking likely to be the number.
What exactly does the $240 get you?
- MRE for 24 hrs = $20
- T-Shirt = $10
- $10k profit for the gym?
Sounds a lot like the winter challenge so…
- there won’t be enough MREs for everyone
- the judging will be inconsistent
- it will run several hours over with way to much down time
Have fun.
What do you think the cost of 26 straight hours of Rocky and whoever else thats running this things time costs? I don’t imagine thats free.
It sounds like there is a little ambiguity based on “overpriced” ‘s comments. First off, this is not a competition at all. There are no judges aside from the instructors. It would be better compared to camp kokoro than the winter challenge. Only a segment of this event will take place in the gym. Mos will take place outside in parks and on the street. Once again, this is not a competition.
Do girls do this? Or will I be holding back a team of ripped dudes?
This event is for athletes of all skill levels. I encourage men and women to participate. The teams will be broken up accounting for different skill levels. In addition, don’t sell yourself short. Each person brings their life experience and a set of unique skills to each team. The events will be not only physically but mentally challenging. So in short, no its for everyone. What an unbelievable douchebag Overpriced was with that comment. This is the same kinda guy that would gladly pay some non crossfit folks $150 for a basically unsupervised run through the woods with a fire pit at the end. Every event I’ve ever attended at Hoboken CrossFit has been a steal for the money. Clearly the person here has no business sense. If I were CFH Id let him sign up for $30 and upon arrival give him a t-shirt (which probably costs closer to 15 each for customizing less than 100. Then give him 1 days worth of MRE’s and send him home immediately without the 24 hour professionally coached bootcamp. To the gym managers that deal with that kinda crap thank you for not listening as if you did we would not get to have events like this ever. What a tard.
Hoboken Crossfit you guys are awesome!
