Congratulations to Coach Dan for finishing 5th overall in the 2012 Crossfit Games NorthEast Regionals.

CROSSFIT

15 Minutes to find 3 Rep Max Deadlift
Then… 

15 Minute AMRAP:

Run 400m
Rest 60 sec

BOOTCAMP
2 Minutes Max Effort Hand release Push-Up
then:
15 Minute Team AMRAP:

Partner 1: Bar Hang(start with Chin over bar until you fall off completely)
Partner 2: AMRAP of:
25 Meter Farmers walk
15 Kettlebell Swings
5 Burpees
Partners switch when you drop from the bar.

MAY CHALLENGE: Max effort toes to bar. Same rules apply as the Crossfit Open standard toes to bar. Hector D. and Lauren C. are currently in the lead with 36 and 31 respectively.

REMINDERS:
- Yoga Class will be cancelled this Sunday at 8:30. Coach Steph will be away getting additional certifications.
-A special thanks to everyone that came in yesterday to participate in Memorial Day Murph. Awesome Turnout, awesome people, awesome barbecue. America.

    Dan, Thanks for making my weekend! I cannot tell you how much fun it was to cheer you on and watch you kick ass. Its easy to look at you and what you have accomplished and only focus on the physical aspect. However, I am far more impressed by the mental side of what you did. You trained intelligently, avoiding injury while improving strength and stamina which sounds easy but really isn’t. There are a small percentage of people physically capable to do what you did and an even smaller percentage with the mental capacity.
