I had a question on the living social deal. Is the only classes we can take umlimited are the bootcamp ones? I saw the timings for that are only 9:30 and 10:30 in the monring – do you offer any evening classes for after work?

    • Craig says:

      Hey Soni,
If you follow the schedule link above and select the tab “all classes” and scroll to “relentless bootcamp”, you will be able to isolate the classes from this special. There are 4:30 pm and 8:15 pm’s also available.

        Craig,

I followed through to the link and selected “Relentless Bootcamp” in the dropdown. The calendar doesn’t refresh. On initial load, it doesn’t even seem to show any bootcamp classes in the evening timeslot.

        Any idea as to why?

When you say you have to create a account at the gym does that require more money?

What is the difference between the bootcamp and CrossFit classes?

    • Craig says:

The biggest difference is the inclusion of weightlifting movements in our Crossfit classes. In order to participate in these you will need to take our Fundamentals course. If you just purchased a Living Social Deal, I would suggest using that first then, if you enjoy it, continuing into a Fundamentals Class.

      • Max says:

Hey, if I am coming from another crossfit gym. Do I still need the fundamentals classes before I can do Crossfit WODs?

  4. Clara says:

Hi – Can you clarify what the “5 class punch card” is for? For ex, would I be able to sign up for a barbell club class, mobility, bootcamp, and 2 WODs?

I read somewhere on the site you have to take 4 (?) fundamentals before getting into WODs…so in that case, 4 and then 1? Sorry if this is confusing. THANKS!!

  5. Craig says:

Hey Clara, Just like the Unlimited option, you are only able to use these for bootcamp. This is because for all other classes participation would be excessively dangerous without former Fundamentals training.

For more questions, please email me at craig@crossfithoboken.com and I will do my best to answer.

I just signed up for the living social boot camp 5 class punch card
Can you describe what the boot camp class is? How long, what the work out consists of etc?

  7. craig says:

Hey Sam. THe class is 45 minutes to 1 hour depending on what time you sign up. It will normally consist of a quick skill based warmup followed by a workout and a cooldown. For more information please click here

    Hi Craig,
I would like to know if there are any post natal bootcamp instructors?
If I decide to start in February, will I be behind in the class? How many people can participate per session?
    Thanks!
    Angelica

    • Craig says:

      Hey Angelica,
You wont be behind since the class doesn’t have a mandatory start and end date. People just jump in when they are ready. At first, yes, some of the other athletes may have a a one up on you since they’ve been there longer but you should be able to close the gap with consistent attendance. The classes allow up to 25 people per session. Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

“You will not be able to sign up online until we activate your account in the gym”

how will we be able to sign up for the preferred timeslot then?

  10. Komal says:

    Hi,
I’m planning to go for 1 month unlimited option. Can you explain what does the usual class include and is it the same workout routine everyday?

  11. Rich says:

I see the option to sign up for the midday fundamentals classes for $49, but looking at the schedule, I only see morning or evening fundamental classes that I can sign up for. Are there going to be midday fundamental classes scheduled or will the livingsocial voucher be honored for the morning/evening fundamentals classes?

  12. Dina says:

What is considered the midday fundamentals class? I work from 9-6pm would that work for me? Sorry just trying to figure out things around my work schedule.
