As you can see, we need to fill 26 of these. If anyone has a warmup they enjoy, please post it to comments. If it is good and has a purpose, we would love to include it. Understand that warmups should be 8-15 minutes long and doable for everyone.

Having predetermined warm-ups is a good idea, but what about specific warm-ups for that day’s lift or work out? An example (and I wasn’t there…just going by the website) is that yesterday was a front squat lifting day and warm-up “D” didn’t include any squats/lunges/ect. A while back there was a wod with 21-15-9 155lb front squats and we didn’t do any type of squat warm-up. Maybe it’s just me, but I feel like I need some type of warm-up (air/pvc/bar ect) on any type of lift…especially squats.

  2. I like to do medicine ball tosses with a partner as well as a medicine ball run with a partner. Did this at Khalipas Mountain View Gym before fight gone bad.

    I believe we did:
    • back to back side twist handoffs (don’t know correct name)
    • Possibly we did through the legs handoffs
    • chest passes to partner
    • facing partner wallballs (thruster, then throw it in the air partner catches it)
    • passes while squating whole time
    • 400m run passing to partner while running
